TIME BANDITS 3D? Terry Gilliam Says He's Looking At Conversion!

Would love for this to happen! Terry Gilliam (MONTY PYTHON) is apparently trying to get his 1981 comedy TIME BANDITS converted to 3D.

Here's the quote from Gilliam himself: "We are in discussions to make a 3D version of the film ‘[Time] Bandits.' That will not change anything in the film itself will remain the same and if I think it serves as some passages in ‘Alice [In Wonderland'], the 3D should work well. Anyway, I'll have fun with it!"

And a short description of the movie: A young boy's wardrobe contains a time hole. Through this hole an assortment of short people (i.e. dwarfs) come while escaping from their master, the supreme being. They take Kevin with them on their adventures through time from Napoleonic times to the Middle Ages to the early 1900s, to the time of Legends and the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness where they confront Evil.

Here's hoping he takes his time and gives it all the attention it deserves!
